R&D/System Design and Implementation

As the slogan “putting responsible AI into practice” implies, designing and implementing operational AI systems is one of the core aims of AIGA.

This theme combines the research and development process with creating an MLOps pipeline, which supports the development of systems involving AI/ML as well as enables their deployment to operation.

In addition, monitoring facilities will be needed to ensure that the system keeps producing valid responses, and that possibly emerging biases will be detected. Furthemore, the final product or service using AI should have a safe and upgrade-friendly runtime environment that supports multiple versions of the system.

All these features will make it easier to deploy ethical, explainable and trustworthy AI systems.
